Jielian & Howard, Owners

A sample product tester at the Shengli Oil Field in the Shandong Province of China, Jielian also owned and op-erated a women's clothing store. Her interest in massage therapy was sparked by the influence of an uncle who practiced chiropractic medicine in the city of Dongying. After coming to the US, she took English Language courses at UNLV, then obtained her Reflexology Certification. She later completed the 550-hour course and received her massage license from the Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy. The Director of the NSBMT personally attended and spoke at her class graduation. Jielian also holds con-current massage licenses issued by the City of Las Vegas and the City of North Las Vegas.

Born and raised in NYC, Howard spent 45+ years in the middle and upper management of community service agencies in NY, TN, and OH. He served 15 years as director of a non-profit agency providing vocational training and job placement for adults with mental retardation, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Autism, Down Syndrome, spinal trauma, and brain injury. He also worked in the Las Vegas casino security arena for 6 years.

Howard & Jielian were married in North Las Vegas in 2017 where they reside in a home which Howard has owned for since 2007.

Couples -- Duos

Rooms for 2 people together, foot or body massages, are often booked by married couples and domestic partners. Celebrate an anniversary, birthday, special event or holiday like Valentine's Day. Sometimes booked by sisters, mother & daughter, groom & best man, BFF's, or business partners. Fun when hosting out of town guests.

250 Modalities

That's the approximate number of unique massage therapies & styles per ABMP, Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. If you'd like a modality we don't offer, we will try to find a therapist with experience in that modality.

Walk-Ins Welcome

There may not be a massage therapist ready to serve you unexpectedly. Minimize wait time and ensure a room and therapist are available for the services you desire by calling and booking your session in advance. This is especially recommended for couples & groups.

What to Expect

On Arrival

Clients should arrive 10 minutes early for intake paperwork and to get into a relaxed mode. You will be greeted and asked what type of massage you desire and for what length of time. You will sign and date a form confirming the massage type, time, and price including any add-ons like your choice of optional oils. Clearly printing your name and phone number on the form helps us keep you informed of special events and discounts, or if you left any personal items behind. The form asks you to indicate specific areas of discomfort or pain, and how much pressure (1-10) the therapist should use. Let us know before starting if you have any special needs or issues, specific areas of pain, any recent accidents, injuries, or surgeries. Please take time to read the full form. It discusses the benefits, possible results, and risks of massage therapy, and the prohibition of any sexual allusion, discussion, or activity on our premises.

Before Your Session

About 5 minutes prior to your session, you'll go back to one of 6 therapy rooms with a sliding, no-lock door. There will be soft music playing through a ceiling speaker. Low lights on dimmer switches can be raised at your request. Foot-only massages, require you to remove shoes & socks and raise your pants legs. If slacks must be removed, you will wrap your lower body in a sheet. For body massage or a foot-body combo, remove all clothing, lie down face down, and cover yourself with the top sheet. Women should remove their bras. Underwear optional for men and women. You need not remove all clothing if you're uncomfortable; just know that bulky clothing makes for a less effective and clumsier massage. There are wall hooks to hang clothing. Your therapist will knock on the door and ask if you're ready for him or her to enter begin your session. Unless you ask to reverse the process, the foot portion of a foot-body combo is performed in the last 30 minutes.

During the session

Effective massages occur when clients and therapists clearly communicate and understand the needs and procedures. You control the session. Feel free to tell your therapist any time you want more or less pressure in any area, if there are any (legal) areas needing more emphasis, or any areas you do not want touched. The majority of a body massage is done face down. The body will always be draped with a sheet which is only raised or lowered by the therapist to massage a specific area. There are times you may be asked and helped to reposition your arms, legs, and head. While face down, you will receive our complimentary hot stone therapy. The latter part of a body massage is usually done with the client laying face up as the therapist concentrates on the scalp, face, arms, wrists, and hands. The body massage ends with the removal of oils and lotions using moist, heated towels. The therapist indicates when the session has ended, then exits the room. Slowly and carefully get up, stretch, and get dressed. Make sure you take all personal items. Proceed to the front desk for check-out and a complimentary bottle of water.

Checkout

Payments may be made in cash, Visa Card, MasterCard, Discover, American Express ,or by using Zelle, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Samsung Pay. we cannot accept Venmo. Since October 1, 2022, there is a $5 processing fee for any payment other than cash or ZELLE. During check-out, you're welcome to schedule one or more future sessions. As available, we will be happy to reserve a series of sessions for you weeks or months ahead. We merely ask you to call us when you need to cancel or alter your sessions so we can free up the therapist and room being held for you, making them available to someone else.

Tips

Like most other service industry members, massage therapists rely heavily on client tips to balance their household and family budgets. If you were satisfied with your session, please tip appropriately. If you are not exactly sure what that means, please feel free to ask. Some of our competitors now mandate or add tips into the massage fee. We will not do that! We want our clients to be satisfied with our service. That means we must retain qualified, happy, and duly compensated staff. If there is a reason you're withholding or reducing the tip, please be so kind as to discuss the issue(s) with the owners. Allow us the opportunity to try and make things right for you and the therapist.
